Nearly a three star,
This review is from: Bayesian Artificial Intelligence (Chapman & Hall/CRC Computer Science & Data Analysis) (Hardcover)
I like this book. I am new to the topic, I have read a few other books in the AI arena, but this one was a little difficult to understand. It seemed to me that perhaps an additional paragraph here or there or perhaps some better sentence construction, would have made a huge difference.
I had to read the first couple of chapters (the maths foundation stuff) alongside Artificial Intelligence, a Modern approach, by Russell and Norvig, to understand it.
But, I'm no great mathematician and perhaps I can't blame the book for that. You may get the point quicker than me.
A nice good book, that is nearly ok for me but not quite. If that makes sense!
So for me a four star because I know it's good even though I struggled with it.
