Phew! Frankie's brain appears to operate on a different astral plane to us mere mortals...simultaneously transcending the mortal coil and existing on a transcendental realm whilst concurrently dredging the deaths of human depravity. A neat trick if you can do it, except that it isn't a trick.
FB's a man who is at one with the universe, don't believe the hype- the streetwise scottish exterior is a front, a mask..no-one can write like this if they are not attuned to everything that is going on..The omnipresent nature of his consciousness is both unnerving and comforting... like life.
High brow meets low-brow and all points inbetween...'The Doors of perception meets the rake's progress' - stick that quote on the paperback. (And I went to a secondary modern comprehensive school).
