1.0 out of 5 stars Awful. Overlong and incoherent!, 8 Oct. 2011

This review is from: Transformers: Dark of the Moon [Blu-ray + DVD] [2011] [Region Free] (Blu-ray)
"I need to go to the toilet."
"Ok, hurry back, I'm sure something will happen soon!" I'd taken a young friend of the family to the cinema to see Transformers: Dark of the Moon. He'd been so excited to see it and there were were watching it on the massive screen with a ton of popcorn and he was bored silly by it. Again and again he went off to the toilet, again and again he asked me when was something going to happen. At 11 you'd have thought him the target age for such a film. I'd adored the first Transformers movie but I found this hard work. The action, when it came was rubbish, God alone knows which Robot was fighting which. I found it impossible to see which was talking to which. Sadly for me the committed the greatest cinematic sin, they made a dull and boring film at the end of the day.

your quite right. I sort of enjoyed it but couldnt put my finger on what was doing my head in about it from start to finish?....
Your review has put everything into perspective. too much going on during the action scenes and not enough happening inbetween the action. by the time an action scene cropped up i almost really didnt care lol. good in 3D in parts but yeah, no way as good as the first transformers film
