Well, we've not only read the book, but we're both on this diet and doing OK so far. Better than OK, really. ;)
After seeing the TV show, I was struck by the _change_ in dieting strategy this introduced.
It flew in the face of most of the stuff I'd been told over the years (eat little and often, yadda, yadda) and fits in with my personal experience - the times I've lost weight are when I've been too busy to eat 'properly'.
Once again, a scientific evidence-based investigation trumps old wives tales.....
It's wonderfully clearly written, and easy to read and remember. My wife went through it in 3 hours straight.
Let's hope I'm not doing this too late, been retired a long time now.
So chances are that if you're reading this, you're a fair bit younger than we are.
I'd recommend that you read this book.
If you like the idea, do give it a good go, since the evidence is that it could save your life.

It's good news... No... it's GREAT News!
I'm just over 8Kg lighter, my BMI (body mass index) is down below 'obese' and is heading towards 'normal', I can ride my bike again (uphill too), walk around town without stopping for a rest and so on.
Despite coming off Statins (due to adverse effects) my GP reports that my latest blood test is normal all the way down the line, no cholesterol probs, no blood sugar probs, nothing.
And the best news is that I'm enjoying whatever I want 5 days a week, have loads more energy and enjoy exercise again.
It certainly works for me.
