Thursday night widows,
This review is from: Thursday Night Widows (Paperback)
I will keep this short since the books synopsis explains in good detail what this book is about and also other reviewers have stated the books content so no need for me to repeat it.
This book starts with the ending and so it grips you from the off. Within a couple of chapters you are hooked, you know what happens, you just don't know why or who.
I am not too sure about the book giving a "psychological portrait..." I think that this termanology is slightly misleading, however there is good characterisation and it is a fair representation of what can happen during a recession.
The book is seperated into bite sized chapters - which is great for those of us who can be talked into reading just one more chapter before turning in for the night.
A well written book which is worth a read.
