Try this different type of brain training,
This review is from: Brain Challenge (Nintendo DS) (Video Game)
Having played the Dr Kawashima brain training games I was unsure if I needed another similar game, but recently caught out overseas without my DS I bought this game for my IPod Classic. I liked the look & features of the game but struggled with the controls on my IPod.
The DS version is great, it suits touch control more than wheel control! Also the stress tests (not featured on the IPod version) are really good fun & a little crazy. It also uses actual writing a lot less than the Dr Kawashima games which makes it less frustrating & more suitable for people with dubious handwriting & younger children.
I like the way you unlock mini-games as you go (makes it more addictive), & have strangely found than the relaxing games can actually be relaxing. Only thing I'm not keen on are the 2 trainers (Barbie & Ken I think?!), but you can just zoom through their waffle!
Great price too for a brain training game.
