This review is from: The Business of Studio Photography (Paperback)
Have you ever wondered how the professionals do it? By all accounts, all you need to do to be a successful photographer these days is to buy an enthusiast-level digital SLR camera and a computer, and you'll be well on your way to making big money, from something you enjoy.
This book, however, demonstrates a more reasonable point of view, and places studio photography in the context of the business skills that you will need to acquire before you start to make a decent living from it. The level of detail that is contained within each chapter of the book is intense - everythingn that you will ever need to know about setting up a business in studio photography is here.
The fact that the author is American, and that some of the detail (such as on the tax situation) does not really translate, does not affect the value of this book to any great degree - everything that you need to know, to be a successful wedding photographer, is here.
