Thee fault was in the inability to register it with Amazon
I called your help number and had a long conversation with an American lady. I followed all her directions. We concluded that there is a fault with the product. The lady referred the problem to a technical help team and promised me contact by email within 24 hours. This was 10 days ago - no contact has yet been made by your team. Insult was added to injury by the fact that the helpline call is charged at full telcom charge rates.
I am unable to follow this up until December11th when I propose to return the faulty product to you, demanding full compensation for all the trouble caused to me.

I do not believe Amazon read these reviews.

I suggest that you go into your Order History (Top right of screen, 'Your Account'/'Your Orders') and request a refund. Amazon will pay the return P&P. You can ask for a replacement.

If you ordered it yourself, under your own account, and didn't select 'This is a gift' it should have arrived pre-registered to your account which does suggest a fault as it isn't pre-registered.
