AMAZING value for money .....,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Playstation 4/Vita Officially Licensed Stereo Gaming Headset (PS4/Playstation Vita) (Accessory)
I bought this headset for two reasons, reason one for it's simplicity of connecting straight into the PS4 controller, and the other reason, because of it's low price. It arrived the next day (thanks to Amazon), I connected it to the PS4 controller, tried it in-game (on Call of Duty "Ghosts") and the quality really surprised me. The bass response is brilliant, mid-range is great, and all the high frequency sounds are crisp and sharp, the headset can also easily cope with being cranked up to full volume (and at this level, you really do feel like you're in the middle of a war-zone). The headset also has separate in-line volume controls for the game itself, and microphone volume, so you can get a nice balance.
So, to sum up, this 4Gamers headset is amazing quality, and real value for money, so stop reading this, and buy one! (you too Horacebrian) (",)

I have purchased this headset & can't tell whether it's working or not...I have it plugged into my PS4 controller but it only plays the chat voices through the left earphone? Is this correct? Do I need to configure a setting or is there something wrong?

Okay, are you sure you've pushed the headset connector plug all the way into the PS4 controllers socket? (because it is quite a tight fit, and if it's not all the way in you'll only pickup one channel), also, if you go to the PS4's settings you can change the headset to chat only, or game and chat (it's probably just set to chat at the moment), try the above and let me know how you get on (",)

It may help if I clarify further what I am trying to achieve.
Basically, I want the chat to play through both headphones & the game audio to play through my TV. When I have it set to 'voice chat', it plays voice through only the left headphone, when I have it set to 'all audio' it plays both chat & game audio through both headphones...but that's not what I want.
Sorry to be a bother, any further advice?
Look forward to hearing from you & thanks again.

Hmmm, that's interesting, because I've tried the set up you prefer but can't get the chat working in both earpieces with in-game sounds through the TV either, it only works through the left earpiece instead of both, it seems like there's been an oversight on that score for some reason, and it looks like there's no way around the problem, sorry Michelle :/
