This review is from: The House of the Wicked (a psychological thriller combining mystery, murder, crime and suspense) (Kindle Edition)
A very well written story set in a Victorian Cornish coastal village. It has quite a lot to commend it. The authors descriptions take the reader into a past long gone. The atmosphere and characters come to life, the rather creepy vicar and the artist exiled to Porthgarrow for his indiscretions. The novel has many well crafted characters and the author brings them altogether to make this a very enjoyable read.Folklore, murder and a son returning to clear his fathers name for a brutal murder (graphically described). Its a great story so if you like murder, mystery with a hint of the supernatural then I can recommend this.
