Great collection, but where are the PDFs?,
This review is from: Doctor Who Collection Two: The Lost TV Episodes (1965-1966) (Audio CD)
As far as content goes, it's great to see the lost tv episodes compiled like this, but I have two big problems with this particular collection.
1. I've checked every disc and the PDFs of the production scripts are nowhere to be found. If someone knows where they are please help me. If not, I hope BBC Audiobooks makes them available for download to rectify this.
2. I really wish The Smugglers was included so the lost episodes from Hartnell years would be completely captured on these two collections.
That being said, I hope BBC Audiobooks continues the series though the Troughton years.

Mr. C. P. Taylor says:
All 24 camera scripts were supposed to be on disc one of "The Daleks' Master Plan," but are missing due to a mastering error. The current stock is being reissued and people who already own the set can get a replacement CD by sending the faulty disc one to:

Aren't you forgetting The Tenth Planet as well? I know three episodes remain, but since 2Entertain has no further plans to release serials with animation to missing episodes due to cost it's a safe bet to assume this will be included in Vol. 3. But like you I hope they release all missing serials in these nice little box sets they're amazing and a pleasure to listen to.

Thanks for the useful info.
Silly question but I'm assuming from the epiode count in Amazon's review that Mission is on this set not vol 1 ?

Yes. Mission is on the first disc of Daleks' Master Plan.
Re: Tenth Planet. I guess you're right, but, man I'm hoping they'll do a DVD release of is somehow. Maybe have the first three episodes, then an audio-only episode with the surviving clip(s).

Re: Tenth Planet -think you're right and if released on dvd will probably be as you describe.
It really deserves more though being the last 1st doc story, the story that set up the series ability to literally regenerate itself, and the story which introduced the monster that proved that Who could do recurring iconic monsters other than the Daleks. These last two points ensuring the show's longevity.
I would have hoped a little money could be found to do an "Invasion" style reconstruction as I don't believe there are any photosnaps for the missing episode.

That's a real shame, if there are no plans to continue with the animations to replace the missing episodes where only the audio exists... I thought that was a very effective work-around, and was looking forward to more of the missing Troughton and Hartnell stories getting the same treatment as "The Invasion."
Oh well, if I ever win the lottery I solemnly swear to fund at least one of them!
These audiobooks are a real pleasure, though, and after listening to the missing stories in audiobook form countless times it was fascinating to actually see the existing episodes from those stories in the "Lost in Time" DVD set.

And if I win the lottery I'll do another ! (Hey Doc ! Gee us a ticket !)
Have just heard :
".. REIGN OF TERROR! To be released as complete as can realistically be achieved. Likely late 2012"
We'll have to see what this means as I don't think there are photosnaps for a "Power of the Daleks" type animation, maybe they've changed their minds about "Invasion" style animations.
This was announced alongside another Revisitations : Vengeance on Varos
Now if they really want to revisit any stories that have already been released they should look to The Crusade and The Moonbase instead - both of which do have photosnaps.

That's very good news on the some-stories-are-less-lost-than-others front!

Mr. A. J. Bewley says:
Telesnaps DO exist for the missing episode (Unlike The Invasion and the to be released next year Reign of Terror) and they were used for the reconstruction when it was released on video.

I'd just like to mention that AudioGo very speedily replaced the defective copy of disc 1 of TDMP and it's a beautiful thing.
