2.0 out of 5 stars Good lights, bright enough for road use. //UPDATED//, 13 Dec. 2011

This review is from: Raleigh Moon Silver Front and Rear LED USB Rechargable Bike / Cycle Lights (Misc.)
UPDATE: During one short ride on the road, the rear light fell off it's bracket and I lost it. I contacted the seller but there is only a 6 month warranty.

These lights are very handy - USB charged and very small so they're easy to store when you take them off the bike. Mounting and demounting the lights from the bike is very easy - you just pull a stretchy piece of material round the handle bar and clip it on.

Only disadvantage is that they aren't as bright as others on the road, but I suppose that's what you get for this mid-range price. They are good enough to use on well-lit streets so that other road users can see you. Definitely not suitable for trail biking.

Overall, I'm very pleased with the purchase.

Hi, its a while since this review but quick question:
Sounds like these lights have a quick strap mechanism, instead of a bracket? I hope so, would mean quick switches between 2 bikes.
While I'm bothering you I might as well enquire as to how the lights are holding up.
Thanks!

Correct - they can easily be switched between bikes as they are quick-strap with no bracket. They're still going strong - I haven't used them for the last 2 months due to university holidays but I used them pretty much every other day from January to June and they I am still very happy. I'd still recommend them.
