2.0 out of 5 stars Anti monotheistic diatribe?, 3 April 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: In The Shadow Of The Sword: The Battle for Global Empire and the End of the Ancient World (Paperback)
This book attempts to rubbish the foundations of the Moslem faith and at the same time lands a few punches on Judaism and Christianity. The book is not particularly well written and the research is noy htorough enough.

I think the book just shows historically how all religions are created to reinforce those in power ie God- Emperor/Caliph/King that's why one God was a much more useful tool of mass control than multiple Gods. Well written and excellent book and much better than some book of old fairy stories that claims to be the word of God written down by some bronze age charlatan
