This game... Wow,
This review is from: Two Worlds II (PC DVD) (DVD-ROM)What can I say, this game is just awful. If it had been released in 2007, I'd probably have just brushed it under the carpet and passed it off as another developer trying to ride the open world rpg band wagon on the shoulders of another, much better game. But this is not 2007, this is 2012.
The voice acting is lousy, the script is generic, the controls couldn't be more badly designed if they'd been spread out over the back legs of two horses running in different directions, anything but melee will have you killed by every animal past the starting area, most characters exist to have their one line of dialogue then stand around with literally no other purpose in the game, you are encouraged to store your items in a little box in a room in the starting section, then unable to get back there once you start the game properly, the main character laughs maniacally when a small animal is killed... and the button for block is the same button as run. If you are completely still, you will block but if you are moving, even a tiny edging forwards motion, you will run full pelt at whatever you were trying to fight. I played this game for 2:30 hours the first day I bought it, then returned it. There is no point having a 60 hour playtime if the play is this bad.

Wrong about almost everything including not being able to get back anywhere, right up until the last part of the game you can transport instantly back to the building the room and chest are in. The fact that no-one uses this is hardly the point you will later have a house and you dontuse that either because any equipment you dont use directly will be broken up for parts to imporve the ones you do use or sold.
The laugh fair enough is true at times it is a useful way of knowing your enemy is dead (if you use traps or long distance methods) I didnt have a problem with controls the starting difficulty of the game, due to the fact i was used to rushing like an idiot through a game took some adjusting to, but this was my failing not the games. The only problem with this game is the awful ending of the single player section.
