Amazingly, the dumb morons at Optimum still think there is a market for widescreen films panned&scanned to 4x3. Even if this is open matte, it's inexcusable - the film is meant to be seen the way it's projected theatrically. A plague on those cretinous brainless congenitally stupid idiotic imbeciles.

What do you mean by telling the original poster to calm down. He has every right to be annoyed, just like I am. What is the point of people owning all this wonderful technology in the form of Plasma and LCD widescreen TVs if idiots like Optimum keep putting out theatrical films in 4.3 pan & scan or 133.1 Full Frame which these days is only fit for the traditional 4.3 cathode Ray TV for those who are still old fashioned enough to own one. I for one am getting fed-up with this kind of nonsense! DVD has been around for many years now so there is no excuse. For people like you to say.."At least it's on DVD", is pathetic! Cheers.

It's important to complain, otherwise people won't know what they are doing wrong. They have to give people what they want, otherwise what is the point of being in business. They need to know they are losing money by this poor release. If you don't let them know, why would they change? I just hope i don't have to wait another twenty years for a proper copy of this film.
