This review is from: Popular Lies About Graphic Design (Paperback)
This book is a micro collection of snippets of graphic design stories, wisdom, opinions and lies. It is wrote really well and engages you from the start. I wish I had read this while studying for my graphic design degree! For me personally, there is a Paul Arden feel to the book (not just in size), similar like 'Whatever you think, think the opposite' but more in-depth with real life opinions and stories within the graphic design industry. This book will not tell you how to be a graphic designer, neither should it, but it does give you an insight into the experiences the talented Craig Ward has had. These are invaluable to the young students and designers. The book is small enough to read in a short amount of time but not too short as to not take something away from it. A must read for all. I would give this 4.5 out of 5 if I could.
The book is now in its 2nd print which is fantastic and full deserving. I now really hope for another book from this talented writer and designer.
