This review is from: Edward Burne-Jones (Paperback)
Have almost finished reading this book. I've never known so many typos in a book! This can be a bit disconcerting in what ultimately is a very good read. It brings in all the Pre-Raphaelites and discusses Burne-Jones relationship with William Morris and 'the firm'. Lots of details about Burne-Jones paintings and explanations on his reasons for choosing the subject matter. The book discuss Burne-Jones relationship with his wife Georgie and the rest of the MacDonald sisters and their off-spring. It also touches on Burne-Jones fascination with other women in his life such as Maria Zambaco. Would recommend.
