KING IN A HURRY.,
This review is from: Impossible Dream (Audio CD)
In 1971, one would have expected a "tight" and focussed Elvis at all his concerts. For this reason, I bought the latest FTD release, but must express major disappointment at both sound quality and the King's delivery on most of the songs. He seems in a hurry and fools around too much, resulting in a fast and short show.
Nevertheless, the renditions of "Impossible Dream" and "Snowbird" are particularly good. The show is also better than "It's Midnight", but not close to the 1977 energy of "Spring Tours.
