Thin foam is a real let down,

This review is from: York Pushup Stands (Sports)
While these do allow you to maintain a more natural wrist position and they do deepen the press up over a normal floor based one, these light weight stands are not the most comfortable and after a few months the foam has thinned making them quite uncomfortable. They are also higher at one end than the other - which I assume is supposed to help with wrist alignment but there is no advice on the box or inside. The light weight is a plus - it makes them portable but they are certainly sturdy enough. However, while they are perfectly effective for a normal press up position, if you try to use them in a wider arm stance then they feel unstable enough to put you off. The reservations on design would be easy to overlook though if they just had a more comfortable grip with thicker foam that doesn't rotate quite so much.
