A very full and well researched commentary. There is much in the way of political reflection which contextualises the society of the day. I was fortunate enough to be a wee laddie at the time of these events and the writings certainly strike a chord - I recommend this book to any student of sociology, or indeed to anyone who has the need to indulge in a little nostalgia.

Quite Brilliant. Evokes an age that some of us grew up in before we were liberated by the 1960s. We have lost our innocence and gained insights over that time period.
