It is about time that someone else explained the Israeli side of this land dispute. I was absolutely fed up reading about settlements that are illegal under international law which they are not as well as walls set up to prevent suicide bombers entering Israel being portrayed as a racist act. I never forgot the pictures of Arab crowds rejoicing when they heard the news of 9/11 and this book gives the Israeli side of the dispute in readable terms.

Mr. Duncan Macfarlane says:
There is no doubt that the settlements in the occupied (and illegally annexed) West Bank are illegal under international law. The only people who will claim otherwise are the Israeli government - and they're just ever so slightly biased.
Since the US had effectively been arming and funding the Israeli military which has killed hundreds of thousands of Arab civilians over the decades, it would have been surprising if a minority of Arabs hadn't celebrated 9-11, though it was a very small minority.
