A novella pretending to a novel,

This review is from: The Echoes of Love (Kindle Edition)
In my view this is a novella dressed as a novel, padded out by extensive and over-elaborate descriptions of people, places and transient events, and by an overuse of Italian. The single plot line is highly implausible and some of the topographical detail relating to Venice will seem strange to someone who knows the city well. One star for the story, with an extra star for the author's manifest descriptive ability.
