I needed another baking tin with small holes as I had one with 12 holes but had space in the oven for another, this was perfect. Having watched a video where the pastry was divided into balls of 10-15 g and then simply pushed into the holes with the pastry tool this looked like a time saver (no rolling out) and yes it was however the pastry bases resulting were rather thicker than the sides even when I pushed harder (thus the 4*)!The mince pies were still delicious and devoured quickly! I found that the best method was still to roll out the pastry and use a cutter as normal, the wooden tool then made it very easy to line the holes perfectly which was fiddly without the tool as the holes are slightly deeper than a regular 12 holed mini tart tin.
Very good quality and would definitely recommend.
