This review is from: Doctor Who - The Five Doctors (25th Anniversary Edition) [DVD] (DVD)
Anyone who was around in 1983 would remember the excitment of all 5 Doctors coming back together. In the end Tom Baker decided not to and William Hartnal had passed away many years ago. The story is not the strongest but the show is more a celebration and it works ok as an enjoyable yarn. Shame Pertwee and Troughton were not together longer. This is far better than the original realise(the first Story on DVD) which was not done by the Dr Who restoration team. You have both the original story picture and sound remastered to great quality. Then you have the second with a 5.1 sound and also the dolby surrond mix from the original DVD realese, and golly can you tell how bad the original sound was. (if your a purist you can always listen to the original mono track) as for extras there are so many and they are all pretty good, at this price even if you bought the original it is worth buying it again honest.
