I have just embarked on a macrobiotic diet and was finding it hard to understand and do nice recipes. This book takes all the mysticism out of the diet and gives you common sense ideas for cooking and living. Also it suggests that you go easy on yourself when starting the diet and give yourself a break occasionally, something I was beating myself up about doing. Great book!
