A great user friendly guide,
This review is from: The Welsh Learner's Dictionary / Geiriadur Y Dysgwyr (Paperback)
This book is very user friendly. It starts off with a grammer guide & takes you through the Welsh alphabet & gives you a pronounciation guide. Then it takes you through the mutations and goes through verbs in Welsh. It also has a section on possesive pronouns & the many yes & no answers which is a great help (there are many other helpful bits to the grammar section, I have just commented on the ones I found the most outstanding). I found the place names in Welsh section really helpful too. The dictionary itself is a good, comprehensive guide & in some instances gives you examples of the word in a sentence , which is really useful. I think overall it is a wonderful dictionary for Welsh learners.

While I generally agree with this review, I must point out that the pronunciation guide is filled with errors. If you pronounce Welsh as taught in this dictionary, there is a big risk native Welsh speakers won't understand you. If you're looking for a dictionary with pronunciation, as I was, then this is not the book for you.
