I really liked this as a device, it is small and compact and can be mounted either in a watch strap or a belt clip. It can monitor your number of paces as a pedometer, the amount of calories burnt in activity and the number of miles walked. It has a sleep monitor which tells you when you woke up and when you are in deep or light sleep. It also acts as a clock and has a sensor to measure your pulse and blood oxygen levels that are on the back of the device.
There are a couple of warnings. Firstly make sure that you slot it into the watch strap the right way around, otherwise the sensor might be damaged as it does not fit into the correct slot. Secondly install the app or it won't do anything at all. The app is easy to install on android and iOS, and I put it in my tablet. The sleep monitoring was the most interesting feature to me. I am not sure how it works and I am not counting on complete accuracy but it is interesting to see how the patterns change from one night to the next. Other reviewers have commented on the accuracy of the pedometer, and my son found that swinging on the swing gave him lots of paces, but I did not count any paces when cycling - so it is related to rocking movement.
Finally you will notice that my review is in the past tense and this is the most serious issue. Over a week the device became a bit looser in the watch strap and one day when I was in town it slipped out without me noticing and so I have lost it. This is very annoying as I was enjoying using it, and the manufacturers might need to tweak the watch strap to prevent this from happening. So for now it is four stars because this is a design fault that could have been anticipated.
