Give This Pussycat A Miss,
This review is from: Catwoman [DVD] (DVD)
Running time 101 minutes, Trailer, Deleted scenes.
1)Sharon Stone took a phone call on her cell phone during filming & held up production (Diva).
2)Halle Berry had a male stunt double for this film.
3)Halle Berry accepted the Golden Raspberry award in person for this film (Nice to see she's got a sense of humour).
4)The movie went through reshoots prior to appalling test screening within a month of it's theatrical release (Didn't do much good for the end result did it).
Graphic designer Patience Price is a shy socially awkward woman who stumbles on a shocking secret about her employer Laurel Hedare & her company Hedare Beauty & it's new anti aging products.
Patience is attacked & killed disposed of in a drainage pipe & washed out to sea but in a mysterious twist of fate she is resurrected by a Egyptian Mau giving Patience enhanced speed, Strength & cat like senses as she walks a fine line between criminal & hero.
Patience Price becomes Catwoman who seeks to bring justice upon her employer Laurel Hedare & her companies dark secrets of what's in thre beauty cream products leading to a final confrontation between Catwoman & Hedare boss Laurel Hedare.
Two Star's have I lost the plot?
No those two star's are for how sexy Halle Berry looks in this film as she oozes sexual tension & could probably turn even a gay man straight in her Catwoman outfit.
It's a pity with 3 writers that a better plot couldn't have been written as Halle Berry is a decent actress who should've been given far better material than what's on offer here.
Sharon Stone is doing her Dynasty pantomine acting in this film as Laurel Hedare & just phones in her performance & doesn't seem to be making any effort but I bet she was happy to cash her paycheck.
The action is sloppy & poorly choreographed & in some sequences it's blatantly obvious its a male stunt double not Miss Berry doing the action.
As for the visual effects well there not up to much either as the CGI looks quite fuzzy like a poor video game.
This film hasn't respected it's source material & would've benefited from a Selina Kyle origin story as this film's actual story about dangerous beauty cream products isn't exactly the most perilous of plots.
Just watch this as a so bad it's awful type of movie & enjoy the film's only redeeming feature Halle Berry in a Catwoman outfit.

I enjoyed reading this review of yours on 'Catwoman' and found some of the trivia points very amusing.
I'm not into the DC comic book world as much as the Marvel superheroes, so I wasn't interested in seeing this.
I'm glad I didn't miss much, although I do find Halle Berry very sexy in her Catwoman outfit.
Great review on this. Tim.

The should of done a origin Selina kyle story not what we ended up with.
This is a bad movie saved from Timelord 1 star oblivion due to the very sexy Halle Berry.
