Works with Windows 7 64 bit,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Proxima Direct® USB to Midi Cable Keyboard to PC Laptop Adapter - For Win 7, XP Vista Mac Plug and Play
Did read other reviews and people having issues with Windows 7 and being this product was so cheap I thought I would give it go.
Plug it in and Windows 7 64 bit found it and installed a driver, I can now see it as a USB Midi Cable (as expected) in Device manager.
Fired up Reason v4 selected the midi port and away I went without any issues, note I also run ASIO4ALL so there is no latency.
Also tried Synthesia however this does not support ASIO4ALL and hence there is latency when playing.
Mainly want to use it with Reason so I'm happy with the result...

Hey! I have Windows vista and for some reason I can't get this thing to work on my PC.. I've plugged the MIDI in/out leads to my keyboard but the in/out lights on the adaptor aren't lit up and I can't see the device when I go into 'My computer'. I'm using Finale software and tried to play in some notes, but it's not picking up the MIDI device at all (not surprisingly). Sorry to be a bug.. but is there any chance you have an idea what I'm doing wrong?? :/
