Good quality, but could do with portions being much smaller,

This review is from: Lily's Kitchen Organic Fish Dinner for Cats 100g (Pack of 16) (Misc.)
I've been experimenting with a few premium brands of food to at least partially replace the crap diet of F*l*x and Wh*sk*s which my cats have been eating which contain minimal amounts of meat (4% if you read the small print) with something more natural and nutritious and which hopefully they will eat up completely - so much of the uneaten F*l*x and Wh*sk*s just goes to waste. Smaller portions in each pouch or tin might be beneficial in this respect, especially if the premium brand has a high meat content and is not full of unsatisfying filler.
These Lily's Kitchen trays which boast a 60% fish and meat content have had a fairly good but mixed reception - one of my three cats loves them (but she still reserves the right to be fickle on any given day) whereas the other two like it now and again. The portion size of these trays, 100g (same as F*l*x and more than Wh*sk*s), is much too large really for a nutritious premium brand with less filler, way too large for one cat unless your cat is prepared to keep going back to the same food several times over during the course of the day (mine generally don't, and I don't believe anybody's would on a hot summer day), and because the likelihood of all three cats deciding they all like this on the same day is minimal, there is a tendency for a sizeable proportion to go to waste.
So in summary, it's a good quality food (though not all cats may like it) but the portions ought to be much smaller than this.
