I think Milly from Manchester must have an axe to grind; maybe she is the 'other half' of the Gucci family.
But I simply cannot believe she thought the writing was poor. A publisher of the standing of John Blake doesn't hire people who cannot write!
Ignore what she said here; if you like intrigue and double dealing among the rich and famous, make sure you read this book.
The Daily Mail review rated it highly; I rather think their view is rather more objective than that submitted by our Mancunian friend.
