Very responsive controller,
This review is from: Nintendo Wii U Pro Controller - Black (Accessory)
I love this pro controller I have used it for Tekken tag Wii U edition so far and found the experience enjoyable and comfy, most annoying thing is going from the gamepad to the pro controller as it feels like it's shrunk in your hand but the weird feeling soon goes.
I didn't think I would like the digital analogue buttons or thumb sticks, the position of the thumb sticks seems weird but when playing a game you don't actually notice anything odd at all, everything is very natural and laid out perfectly, very well thought out controller.
Lack of analogue pressure sensitive trigger buttons is my only gripe with the gamepad and pro controller but so far I've not missed the feature but I haven't yet played CoD or a racing game on the system to find out if I will miss these features, coming from years of playing CoD on PS and MS controllers I genuinely think I might miss this feature but I haven't missed it yet, my favourite racing game is forza and that's a Microsoft exclusive anyway, Project car's might feel the crunch if I can't get used to digital triggers.
Worth noting what games use this as not all games are compatible so look at the controller options on the back of the box, I would have liked to have got this working with Nintendoland but it seems that the pro controller is not supported on that particular game, Nintendoland favours the Gamepad and wiimotes with motion plus.
All in all though a very good controller though that features an excellent battery life around 70-80 hours, and really comfy playing position for extended lengths of play. 4/5 for just the lack of pressure sensitive triggers and so far slight lack of support for it.
