This review is from: Business Analysis Techniques: 72 Essential Tools for Success (Paperback)
This is a good book, but is basically a re-hashing of what is in the Business Analysis book (which covers the BCS Business Analyst Diploma course). I hoped this book would flesh some of the techniques out for me, but it doesn't.
However, if you've not got the BA book and want a one-stop shop for all BA techniques, then this is a great book (though I question some of the techniques as being of any use to a BA. Maybe to a management consultant or strategic change consultant... but I guess that's down to the semantics of job descriptions)

Yes, I was thinking exactly the same thing when looking through the table of contents.

Thanks for this review. I bought the BA book just two days ago and while waiting for that to arrive, I thought I should order for this. Is the BA book sufficient for me to prepare for and pass all the four modules that make up the Diploma in Business Analysis? Looking the the table of contents for the BA book, my first thought is that the book is only good for the Foundation in BA module. I might be wrong and that's why I'm asking this question. I plan to do self study for the four module but I dont know which book(s) I should buy to support the BA book. Your reply will be highly appreciated.
