5.0 out of 5 stars A fantastic Buy!, 28 Feb. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Skiiddii Lightweight Single Wheel Bike and Bicycle Trailer - Silver (Sports)
The trailer arrived promptly in flat pack form. Looking at the picture on the box and reading the instructions was very simple and I had it assembled in less than half an hour. Took it out for a spin on bike with no problems. The centre wheel pin on the rear bike wheel is really easy to change too. The only criticism I have is that the trailer didn't come with any grease as this is needed for every moving part and the swivel pin as well as the rear wheel quick release pin. I bought a tin of 'quick grease' from poundworld and the trailer is now working great. Took some heavyish rubbish to the recycle plant earlier on varied terrain.....no problems.

Update.....I took the trailer fully loaded on a 175 mile camping trip through Dumfries and Galloway National Park over Easter without any problems at all, it handles well and on the flat and downhill you don't notice its there. The weather was rotten and the trailer performed well. I did notice that my rear bike wheel was chucking water and dirt/mud over the trailer when raining even with mudguards which has stained the yellow holdall (not a problem to me) so I've once more visited my favourite shop (Poundworld) and bought a tarpaulin which I now use to completely wrap the trailer holdall ensuring it is kept clean and 100% waterproof. Also a small amount of rust started to appear on the ends of some of the spokes so I remedied this with a small wire brush and bike oil bought from ...............poundworld. This trailer is fab as is the price, and is coming with me on a tour around Scotland in the summer.

Further update....I cycled using this trailer over 500 miles around Scotland last Easter (2014), up the Islands and through the Great Glen to Inverness and back down through 'the middle' of Scotland over the Cairngorm Mountains and every other 'hill' that Scotland has to offer without any major issue at all. Fair enough,I had two punctures which were easily remedied due to the quick release back wheel, but this trailer served me well by carrying all the gear I needed (my fault for overloading the thing with stuff I didn't need though!). Not a product issue but the more weight you carry the tougher every incline, yet if you're into your cycling touring/camping thing, this is a cracker of a buy...:)

Does the trailer fit 28" wheels?
