4.0 out of 5 stars Love the book but a bit disheartened., 13 Oct. 2011
This review is from: Home Bake: Cakes, muffins, tarts, cheesecakes, brownies and puddings, with foolproof tips from Master Pātissier (Hardcover)
Hi guys, I love this book, it has a great variety of recipes. But has anyone tried the lemon, yogurt and poppy seed muffins? I have tried making them twice now and both times I've had to throw them out because they just dont do anything, they are way too wet when baking and dont rise or brown, my oven temperature was perfect so that wasnt the problem. have i misread the recipe when it says to add 2 tsp of lemon curd to each muffin? please help as I'd love to perfect this recipe. Other than that I cant wait to try more especially the peanut butter blondies!

check out the channel 4 web site bakingmad.com & see if anyone can help you there, also you may be able to get a demo on you tube if all else fails, I've not tried making them myself but try a bit more flour if your mix is too loose, muffins are not as easy as they look. Hope this helps a little.
