This review is from: The Two Minute Rule (Paperback)
This is a story of a man fresh out of jail, after serving a long stint for robbery, who enlists the help of the former FBI agent who nailed him (!) to find out who murdered his son, a policeman - a police cover-up or conspiracy looms as the likely scenario. There is nothing particularly stylish about the writing and the plot clearly contains some improbable elements. Nonetheless, Crais develops the story-line very well and produces a tale which is not fully predictable. In short, this was an enjoyable and engaging read with a plot which is not too complicated. 9/10.
