Lakeland stone circles,
This review is from: Prehistoric Monuments of the Lake District (Paperback)
I have walked in the Lake District for many years and visited the major "tourist" stone circles. I bought this book after a walk between Boot and Burnmoor tarn which led through a collection of small circles.
It is written by an expert with strong local experience and opens up many more sites, no matter what level your interest or knowledge. Well worth acquiring if you are a "Laker", especially if the years are starting to keep you off the tougher circuits and you are looking for a theme for lower level walks
