It's passably good, but not on a par with the genuine article.,

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Compared to some of the first Nespresso clones that came out, this has a number of things going for it. It fits properly in the machine, not requiring the arm muscles of a gorilla to get the arm down. It also tastes passably good so you could give it to someone not familiar with Nespresso.
It isn't a Nespresso capsule though. This is supposed to be on a par with the Ristretto (black) or Arpegio (purple) capsules, unfortunately it isn't. It has a good initial taste but where Nespresso coffee then reveal further taste layers and a pleasant lingering aftertaste, this doesn't. It's a bit flat and a tiny bit chemically.
I also find the packaging odd - each capsule is foil sealed, but then additionally wrapped in plastic. The smell on opening the packet indicates a possible reason why - not air tight. That smell however is not pleasant, so another black mark.
The capsule is probably as recyclable as a genuine capsules - though two materials make it more difficult, but the wrapper is straight in the bin.
Overall, if you really must save a few pennies a cup, this will do - but if you really enjoy your coffee and are a regular Nespresso user, you will notice the difference between this and the genuine article.
For me, I'll be sticking with Nespresso capsules.
