Laughing all the way to the bank,
This review is from: The Power (Hardcover)
Does this speculation come to Rhonda in a dream, if so I wish I could dream like that, and I to, would be laughing all the way to the bank. Having said that this author is a very good writer and she does build up your hopes if only for a little while, only to be returned to the real world.....just like a dream.

Hey there :) Rhonda writes from scientific fact and if you read the science behind the secret by Travis S Taylor also for sale on amazon, you will get a scientific background of exactly what the law of attraction is all about. It is a must read if you want the scientific facts of the law of attraction. You said Rhonda got your hopes up for a short while then you went back to reality. basically whats happening for you is your using the law of attraction wrong. When rhonda makes you feel good, you are supposed to remain in that state as much as possible. Dont go back to the old world at all, instead you want to feel amazing as much as possible. I just read a bit of the secret by rhonda and in it is an exercise that tells you to smile for a minute with your eyes closed focusing on your feelings to help you create a feeling of goodness. Well for you it seems that the book made you feel good so keep rereading it to make you feel good all the time, also try smiling as much as possible and see the difference in forcing smiling gives. Doing this will cause you to attract everything that feels good instead of getting everything you have been getting in your normal state.

It's quite easy to write a book like this. Just spout some trite commonplaces, dress it up in mysticism, add a dash of quantum flip-flap, tell us all we're wonderful and to love ourselves and that we can be and do anything we want if we just buy into this 'secret' or whatever. It's like taking candy from a baby, getting middle-aged women experiencing a meaning-gulf in their lives to buy crass nonsense like this.
