5.0 out of 5 stars Led G9 bulbs, 18 April 2013

Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: 5 G9 3528 SMD 48 LED Warm White Spot Light Bulb Lamp 230V Energy Saving
I hesitantly bought these bulbs for my living room center light as I am fed up of permanently buying normal G9 bulbs which work out costly for the short length of time they last plus the higher running costs ,I am amazed at how much light these bulbs give out & with no warm up time like other low energy bulbs i have used, This 5 pk was a great price & with the low wattage usage so the running costs will be a great bonus. I would really recommend these bulbs if you want good lighting but if you don`t want it as bright then definitely choose the even lower wattage option which i will be purchasing for the bedroom center light. although these bulbs are of greater size to G9 halogens to be honest they dont look out of place or too bulky when fitted , My light fitting was using 5 x 40 watt bulbs & now is 5 x 3.5 watt so from total 200 watt running costs to 17.5 watt running costs doesn't take a maths genius to work out these will cost over 11 times cheaper to use ,

Morkey says:
As now having these bulbs for a while, I won`t be purchasing again , as light slowly diminishes, then one by one they failed by either just stopping or half led`s failing followed soon by the other half or flickering on and off for a week before finally failing . So for a bulb thats advertised as having a considerably longer running life I can assure that this is not the case , it`s not as if the odd one has failed but they all have within a short space of each other, and it`s not as if they have had heavy usage as we`ve just gone through the summer months , Time to research for different bulbs for the dark winter nights
