A superb trilogy,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Brideshead Revisited, Collector's Edition [DVD] (DVD)
This is one of the best, if not the best satires ever written. It is set in the early 1990's after the demise of Margaret Thatcher and is full of the sleaze of the time of the then Conservative government. Ironically, it is easy to see parallels with today!
Ian Richardson gives a truly remarkable performance in the trilogy as Francis Urquart, especially with his wonderful monologues. A great series - thoroughly recommended! In FU's words, "You may say that, but I couldn't possibly comment." Truly brilliant!

Isn't this meant to be about Brideshead?

This review is clearly in the wrong place as it's not about Brideshead. It need to be moved or deleted. Can the reviewer perhaps put this right?

Sadly there is inadequate contact with Amazon to get them to place this interesting little review where it should be, with the DVD of the BBC series "House of Cards". Amazon give the impression that they monitor content put on their site so I cannot understand how so many errors of this kind slip through unnoticed. Better communication with customers is required but until the overcontrolling webpages which filter out all meaningful feedback are reviewed, there is little hope for improvement.

I think the comment relates to the 1990 BBC series The House of Cards rather than Brideshead Revisited.
