Good if you have small children,
This review is from: Integrated Exercise: How Everyday Activity Will Get You Fit (Paperback)
This book seemed to be aimed mainly at women with small children, which was unfortunate, as I bought it for my husband who works a lot of the time and rarely has time for exercise. I am not quite sure what I expected but doing leg extensions and side bends at your desk is impraticle for most people, particularly if they share an office. I also can't imagine why anyone wanting to go to the park would then do exercises while they are there with a park bench rather than going to a gym. Particularly the British who don't really like drawing attention to themselves!
The layout of the book is attractive and inviting, though I think I have read it more than my husband! It has fascinating facts about what you need to do to make up for say, a fizzy drink which includes running up and down the stairs with a suitcase 14 times or cleaning the gutter for 30 minutes - that certainly made me think.
Overall I was a little disappointed that there wasn't really anything new and that it was aimed so particularly at people with small children - I am sure it would have been useful when my children were young but I would have liked to see more for a busy working man or woman.
