Twists and Turns,
This review is from: Dying to Know (A Detective Inspector Berenice Killick Mystery) (Kindle Edition)
In Dying to Know, Alison Joseph has written a book that is so much more than a police procedural crime thriller. This is a multi-faceted and multi-layered novel, that doesn't just deal with a crime, but also deals with the human complexities of her characters. We feel for them, laugh and cry with them and are scared for them, all the while trying to work out who is the killer and why he or she is doing this.
Her characters range from the flawed detective, the scientists, the local vicar, vulnerable children, to tortured mothers. As the book examines each in turn you fly through the pages to a climatic end.
A great read, which I thoroughly enjoyed and thoroughly recommend.
