I don't know a lot about this band. However, they have created an understated gem of a record. A real grower, with shimmering guitar and delicate harmonies. The first part is more rocky, the latter more shoegazing, drifting songs, but each song has it's own place on the album - there is variety and depth.
Riffs are build upon, layered and reverbed, and it recalled listening to January's seminal 'I heard myself in you' - high praise.
Well worth checking out. Highlights include the beautiful, haunting 'Your hand in mine', the lovely 'Here it is' (recalling Subaqua), the chiming guitars in the lovely 'A lifetime...' and slow build up and rock out of 'Fear Home'. I look forward to the next offering!
