Like Windows in 1993,
This review is from: Toast 11 Titanium (Mac) (DVD-ROM)
Remember the world wide wait - slow - slow access to the web over a dial-up modem? That's what it's like trying to edit in Toast - it takes forever to load up working with an hour and a half film and then it's so slow that you can't possibly scrub through the video to find your edit point. On a short video, say half an hour it's just about OK but I'm using a 2.26Ghz Mac Mini Core2Duo with 4GB of RAM so it should fly along.
I've also tried using the accompanying CD label designer which was like a primitive 1980s program. Clunky and unintuitive and whatever I tried I couldn't get it to calibrate my Canon MP600 printer tray correctly. Hit and Miss? More like Miss and Miss! The designer component is really crude and clumsy and when I went to print, the results were way off-centre.
This is a grossly over-expensive app that is definitely not worth the money. You're better off just dumping things to disc using iDVD then scribbling a label on the disc with a marker pen.
