The Good Life Complete Box Series,
This review is from: The Good Life - Complete Boxed Set [DVD] (DVD)
I have always wanted this collection, and have seen it advertised on this website before for an astronomical price of £300! so it was out of my price range, so I was delighted to see it re-packaged at a more reasonable price, The picture and sound quality is excellent. There are bonus material including interviews with Bob Larbey one of the writers and Richard Briers the star, all the episodes are here including the Royal Command Episode which was recorded in front of the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh, we see behind the scenes of that episode, with the Queen arriving at the studio's meeting and greeting before and after the show is recorded. Well worth the money!

does anyone know if this is "complete" ? are the episodes in the right order and have they been edited ? WHen they were originally released on video they were out of order and scenes had been edited (Going to Pot/The Early Birds)
Don't want to invest in this if it is not the whole package.

I would also like to know if this is COMPLETE before I invest. I do already have all but one of the separate DVD's when they first appeared but was disappointed to find that the classic "Windbreak War" episode was not amongst them. It appears on a DVD of just three episodes for a massive £29.99. It almost seems more economical to buy a boxed set for £34 and sell my others [some still unwrapped]. THAT'S IF these three "specials" are in the boxed set - are they?

For the answer to the questions about the completeness of this pack, I've just found a review of this product, dated 11 Feb 2013 review by: By Stephen C "Stephen C". According to that, this is a complete set.
