Season 4 is missing. OK, it's not as good as the first three but that doesn't mean it should be left out of a COMPLETE set

Mr. C. Evans says:
Season 4 was awful and I'm personally glad it's not included, but hey if this sells well enough they will probably do a separate release. Only snag is wasn't season 4 shot on video? If so a high def release is pointless.

The series is complete with 1 - 3, who wants season 4, this season is not Airwolf.
Bad casting, bad SFX, stupid stories, watched only the pilot episode and this was enough

D. Forbes says:
Most Airwolf fans do not consider Season four a part of Airwolf continuity.
It was made by USA network, not CBS, also the series contradicted characterizations in the previous three seasons by having St John Hawke, played by Barry Van Dyke, suddenly revealed to be alive, having been working for many years as a deep undercover agent for American intelligence.
None of the original cast appear it in apart from JMV in the first episode and the production crew no longer had access to the original Airwolf helicopter, and all in-flight shots were recycled from earlier seasons.

Very true. Should have still not called this a COMPLETE set. Mind you, the same goes for the Battlestar Galactica complete set (new series) which isn't either

N. Ward says:
The only reason for an Airwolf fan to want season 4 is because there was a lot of 2nd unit footage shot for the first 3 seasons that was never used. They use some of this in season 4.

Also a lot of fans (me included) would not pay good money if that Canadian show was included. I'd feel as if I'm being forced to pay for something I don't want. Fabulous have made the right call and if the show has been remastered from the original film negatives as stated, I think we're in for a treat.
As N. Ward stated it's only the extra 2nd unit footage that is of interest from that Canadian show. That could be easily fixed by just having a documentary on that extra footage. Then everyone is happy. An HD extra for some future release?. At the minute I'll just be happy to see Airwolf in HD.
As for the Canadian Show itself the sooner it's relegated to the bin where it belongs the better.
A contender for worst show ever made?. Not even fit to be mentioned in the same breath as the original 3 Season Airwolf.

I wonder if they'll include the story of how the original Airwolf helicopter ended up as a rescue chopper which crashed killing the crew

I think we're doing well just to get the classic 3 seasons remastered and be thankful for that.

We are releasing season 4 separately. We did not think it fitted in with this release. It is a different show. It was shot on tape so would potentially damage this incredible new release. I promise you will be blown away with it...
