Don't Expect Miracles,
This review is from: How to Get Your Lover Back: Successful Strategies for Starting Over (& Making It Better Than It Was Before) (Paperback)
This is a very generic and simple guide on how to behave after a break up.. there is no definate way to get your lover back so this may or may not work but the information in this book is more likely to work than begging and pleading and all the usual things people do in this situation.
The examples are all very similar, I feel I know far too much about Matt and Inge as they are clearly a favourite couple. It is more for an American market but you can still take the information and apply it to your own situation.
One major flaw is that the writer seems to assume that the rejected lover was the cause of the relationship breaking down, quite often referring to 'what you have done to make them leave' which may be the case often, but occasionally it would be nice to see it from our point of view, sometimes it was largely the other person who is to blame and there isn't much we could have done to make them stay if they really didnt want to.
I had already started on a few of these steps before reading this book and am now waiting for a first meet up after the initial break up. I'm not able to say how well this worked for me as I'm still in the process of finding out but I will say that it is well worth reading this book as you may get useful hints that you wouldn't have had if you go it alone.

A sensible, balanced review. You wrote it almost a year ago...any chance you could update us? Did you ever get that first meetup after the initial break up (how long did it take)? Did you get your lover back in the end & keep them?
