1.0 out of 5 stars Was not very useful - never will be used!!!, 8 Dec 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Decrescent 30 Pin to USB 2.0 OTG Host Mode Cable for Samsung Galaxy Tab (Accessory)
I bought this to use with my Samsung Galaxy 10.1 and it will not let me access any of my files - they claim that it has been "inserted" but it then tells me that its un-compatible with my Galaxy. My table is only 3 months old and this is the first adapter I have bought for it and its of no use to me, I would be very carerful in purchasing this product, money wasted and now it will be too expensive for me to return.

Very unhelpful review. "they claim it has been inserted", what does? "It's uncompatable with my Galaxy", what is, the adapter, the files, the stick/drive?
Without proper information I will just assume that you are either plugging in an external hard drive which a tablet won't be able to power or you are trying to read file types that the tablet's not set up to read.

It occurs to me that you could do this more cheaply by using the data transfer/charging lead that comes with the tablet and fitting a female to female USB adaptor on the end, eg A Female - A Female USB Adaptor --A-USB-4 - 84p including delivery.
