This review is from: Absolutely - Absolutely Everything [DVD] (DVD)
I was nervous about seeing Absolutely again as i had great memories of me and my then girlfriend religiously tuning in each week and us both crying laughing - it sounds daft but we felt kinda special, we didn't know anyone else who watched it, we were the chosen ones. Ahh those were the days... 9 to 5 jobs, out most nights on the sauce and hiding from the landlord when the rent was due.
I'm older, and probably only a little wiser, but upon seeing this again i can say with my hand firmly on my heart that all responsible are without doubt the most original and gifted writers/performers that have graced our screens... although Jack and Morwenna are everso slightly higher than the others in my estimation. I want a Morwenna all to myself. If you know of a female comedy performer with more talent then please let me know... whoever you find i'll tell you that you're wrong anyway, so perhaps there's little point you bothering to be honest.
Sure there are some negatives regarding the lack of chapters and picture/sound quality but i can easily put up with them as i'm so thankful i'm able see again one of the finest comedy shows ever produced.
When i die i want this set and my Half Man Half Biscuit CDs buried with me. Next to John Peel. And XTC.

Half Man half Biscuit, XTC, John Peel and Absolutely in the one review??? That's pretty damn good definition of 'cool!' Nice!
